The Master of Science Degree in Applied Manufacturing Engineering provides further training and skills for advancement and leadership opportunities using applied methodologies that are in direct response to the needs of manufacturing. The Master of Science Degree in Criminal Justice program offers professional skills and knowledge essential for success in advanced placement within security and emergency management and crime scene investigation roles. These could include, but are not limited to: FBI agent, secret service agent, criminal investigator, special agent, Deputy U.S. Marshal, local emergency management, treasury agent, criminal justice researcher, crime scene investigator, and risk management consultant.

The Master of Arts degree in English offers a solid professional and academic foundation in literary studies, enhanced with available coursework in writing, linguistics, and film studies. All courses are taught by a faculty of dedicated mentors and skilled educators with numerous publications and a wide range of research interests. The MA in English prepares students to teach at the community college level, pursue advanced study at the Ph.D. level, or pursue career or salary advancement in fields of education, business and industry.

Our graduates hold various titles including Parent Educator, Family Case Manager, Family Life Coach, Family Engagement Specialist (FES), Quality Assurance (QA) Care Manager, Financial Stability Coach, 4-H Youth Development Agent, Family and Consumer Sciences Extension Agent, Youth Advocate, etc., all to serve in their communities as highly regarded professionals.This program teaches students the knowledge and skills necessary to enhance the quality of life for children and families and to serve as effective leaders in various social service agencies, including those focused on prevention, outreach, and education.

The Master of Science Degree in Mathematics program is a fully online, innovative approach to graduate level mathematics. All students take a core of five 3-credit courses (including courses in algebra and analysis). In addition, students can choose from concentration/elective courses in pure mathematics, mathematics teaching, or various STEM concentrations. This program is a great option for math majors working in industry or education who desire a stronger background in math and related concepts.

The Master of Professional Studies degree program is designed to meet the educational and career-oriented objectives of today's working professionals. The MPrS degree appeals to students interested in building organizational leadership skills in the areas of Community Development, Higher Education Administration, Information Technology, or Security and Safety Leadership. Students customize their area studies while enhancing their knowledge base specific to work and leadership within formal organizations.Through this program students will demonstrate an understanding of the nature and impact of major social, economic, and political forces, including population diversity, technological change, and globalization. The Masters of Social Work program prepares advanced generalist social work practitioners who demonstrate the application of professional social work knowledge, values, and skills to practice situations to promote human and community well-being. The program endeavors to train advanced generalist practitioners to utilize theoretical frameworks in the application of therapeutic skills in the engagement, assessment, and intervention of/with diverse clients and constituencies in various agencies and social services setting. A focus of the program is to enhance the preparation of advanced generalist practitioners to promote and advocate for human rights and social/economic justice in a purposeful, intentional, and professional manner in rural to metropolitan communities incorporating the impact of global perspectives.
